Laura Rachlin

In 2001, three years after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Florida State University, Laura founded in.design with her best friend and colleague, Karen Hansen. Pregnant with her first child, she took a leap of faith and embarked on her journey toward becoming a leader in an award-winning, nationally publicized design firm.

Laura's greatest strength is her relatable communication style, which allows her to create meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues. She effortlessly connects with large audiences during public speaking engagements and has the innate ability to create the right environment for team members to form close, trusting relationships.

As a firm Principal, Laura is involved in many aspects of the company including business development, company vision, design concepts, scheduling, budgets, and team mentoring. She always strives to be an exceptional role model for the next generation and hopes to inspire young people and the young at heart, to follow their dreams (it's never too late!).  She's living proof that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and the work you are doing.
